WHEELIN' WEEKEND

Last Sunday was kind of a typical "brunch hopping" day for Jen, my sister and I. Singapore has now become one of those countries that embraces conceptual dining experiences created by food stylists and talented chefs from all around the globe. There are various kinds of cafes in every corner of this city, you name it they have it! We do have a list of places to visit on more weekends to come, so we decided to begin the episode with this bike-garage themed cafe that is famous for their "Wheelers OOTD Backdrop" I should say.

Check out this mini bike placed in the middle of a massive table we sat at! My grandparents would've screamed if they were to see this going on..they forbid anything that touches the floor from being in-contact with table tops, especially dining table! 

We were feeling a lil' full that morning, so we only ordered drinks and the Spaghetti Bolognese for sharing. We were quite thrilled to spot Truffle Fries in the menu, but after looking at a plate of fat, cut fries our neighbor ordered, we lost the interest to try cos we prefer thin-cut fries like the ones from McDonald's. The spaghetti tasted rather ordinary; after all, it is one of those comfort food that will never go wrong.

Overall, we were quite pleased with this place. The food was just normal and edible, but the one thing that would make me come back to this cafe would be its unique interior setting and concept. We were quite disappointed to find a very limited selections of desserts in the menu.

I love how our outfit sync together here! 

My shoes of the day: I just couldn't resist to keep this Charles and Keith slip-on heels that was on sale for another day. I barely paid S$30 for this pair and I find that their shoes are getting more comfortable and stylish ever since LVMH took over!
