THE BRIGHTEST DUO

"A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous." -Coco Chanel

The sun has been scorchingly burning, but we both will never let that ruin our 'oh oh tee dee.' With the Angbaos we have collected and the endless sale around town during the CNY week, we did what we do best: shopping. We especially love the collections that were marked down at this time of the year because they always include some of the spring and summer items that tend to be bright and vibrant in color. We love anything that adds a little personality to one's look.

Magazines taught us petite people that we should avoid wearing straight sack-dress and midi skirts. We need something tight and mini to make our bodies look longer and in-shape. But we both felt a little adventurous today and decided to wear something out of our comfort zones: we chucked out the do's and put on the dont's. It was quite fun to catch the attention of others perhaps by the blinding neon colors on our bods. Not sure about Jen, but I did struggle with my stilettos.

The perks about being a dainty chic : You can pull-off the highest heels in the world and not look intimidating or abnormally gigantic.

Nevertheless, the type and color of shoes you choose do make a difference. We personally prefer wedges or heels with chunky front pumps because we are talking about Singapore a.k.a a-lot-of-walking-involved. If your goal for the day is to look tall, thin and elegant, heels in nude-tone should be the thing to go for. At least chunky nude heels will appear subtle in getting the job done. For an edgier approach with lower inch of heels, you can go for something pointy as it helps to make our legs appear longer. Having said that, this goes out to all those vertically challenge ladies... like us. One will need that special pair of pointy shoe in her closet. Yes ladies, this is a need, not a want.

We decided to take some OOTD shots around the condo because we feel that our outfits are blog-worthy.
The fear of wasting a great outfit on an insignificant day made us do it. It never hurts to shine a little on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.

Hope your weekend was equally awesome! Lets hope that this Friday comes even quicker...

Adios,
